Why he's below Kawhi Leonard: Davis has been in the league one fewer season but has played almost the same number of games as Leonard due to injuries (though Davis himself has never played more than 75 games in a season). Kawhi's playoff success and Defensive Player of the Year awards give him the edge over Davis for now, but these two could go back and forth the rest of their careers.
Why he's above the rest: Davis has 8 all stars and was a top-2 player on a championship team. There is only 1 player with those marks who is not ranked above Davis (Paul Pierce). His career postseason averages are significantly higher than his regular season numbers. He's one of the rare players I've found with a higher eFG% and FT% in the postseason than the regular. As long as he stays healthy, he seems destined to continue playing well in both the regular season and playoffs and move a lot higher up the list.
